      Sadly I have to agree with Hub worries

      First hub failed after a few months, replaced and I was extremely impressed with the service. Then the second hub failed after only 760km...
      I am also at a loss here. Loving the rims, have nothing but love and respect for Reynolds products, but this hub is getting the better of me.
      And staying in South Africa - makes the warranty process more tricky for both parties.

      Rear hub is recall worthy and dangerous

      After my first hub went south making a lopsided free wheel noise I sent it in under warranty, only to have my second rear hub now starting to do the same thing. These other reviews are not exaggerating these hubs. I want to ask them to send me a whole new hub of different model because this one is dangerous and terrible.

      Reynolds Tr 249 Hub Failure

      As reported by a number of people my rear hub packed up after 6 months of use on my new bike. If one reads the reviews my case is identical to many. Need some answers from Hayes as to the consistent problems and particularly mine as to how they will remedy. Furthermore to this I have read that people have fallen etc. This is a serious matter as a result of these problems. Trust I receive a response.

      Failed Design

      A year after receiving my new Canyon Strive fitted with a TR309 wheelset, the rear hub self-detonated. This was replaced under warranty but then happened again barely a year later. From my personal experience, and from the other reviews here, you could not pay me to run these wheels. Running them is a serious crash waiting to happen. I will certainly not be accepting the same hubs under my current warranty claim after this second failure in 2 years.
