Mathis Azzaro (Winner): "The meteorological conditions were really difficult. I had to stay focused and not make any course errors. I was determined to do well at this French Championship, and I succeeded. It's my first national title in the elite category, and a highlight of my career. Now it's off to the European Championships in Romania, where I'll also be at the start of the XCC before the Olympic cross-country race.
