Oceania championship:Victory for Samara Maxwell

New Zealand Champion Samara Maxwell won the Oceania Championship for the first time in her career this weekend.

This Championship, held on the beautiful Brisbane circuit, was the first major goal of my 2024 season. My legs were incredible and I was in the lead. Samara Maxwell will not race the first two World Cup In Brazil: «The Oceania championship was the end of the first part of my season. After four victories, it's time to rest and prepare for the next big races. The year 2024 will be long and the challenges numerous. I'm young and I don't want to jump the gun. After talking to the team and my coach, it was decided that I wouldn't be going to the first two stages of the World Cup in Brazil. Joshua Dubau took 2nd place in the Hors-Classe race at Rivera (Switzerland). "A week after my second place in Marseille, the feeling was great on the Swiss circuit. The race was very tactical and I had to make a big effort to get back into the lead after going off the track! I'm happy with this new test. It was my last race before leaving for Brazil.
