I was hesitant bc of the mixed reviews but got the shimano Ispec adapter and it ended up putting the shifter right where I wanted it.
The picture shows clamp, screw sets and small pieces. Only clamp was delivered.
If this is clamp only, picture needs to show the part only. The picture mislead the people.
I picked up some Purple A4s to upgrade my G2 Ultimates and having used matchmakers since their introduction, I wanted an integration solution for my AXS shifter and Dropper controllers. When I opened the package, I was dubious that these would work on the right side because the shifter attachment biases towards the grips. And sure enough, once I set the brake lever for optimal one finger (index) actuation, the shifter pod was under my palm and interfering with the grip. A mirror image option would probably do the trick.
Though, all was not lost, when I mounted the adapter on the left side, it held my AXS Reverb actuator in the perfect position.
Is everyone high? I have always switched my matchmaker clamps putting the left on the right and vice versa. If you run your mm clamps stock your controls make your knuckles bleed. Flip those jons....as far as I'm concerned this is for your dropper lever
Painfully expensive for a small, what feel like cast aluminum. I expected better from Hayes.
