Dominion Pro Bleed Kit

Leaked when I bled the front master cylinder, but did not for the rear. Tightened hard as I could hand tight. Syringes and fittings were quality and I still seemingly got a good bleed, but o-rings would probably fix this. I sprayed the syringes down with isopropyl alcohol when finished to store them for later use, and all of the marking paint came came off. This paint isn't essential, but this was annoying to me. I assume this is not considered a one time use item? In the end everything worked out, but I could have done without all of the leaking for the price.

So this review is just for the fittings only option. Since the titles uses plural form, I erroneously assumed that I would be getting fittings(plural); however, this was not the case. I really should have read through the reviews because others also note this. It is also worth noting that the fitting uses a barb that is quite a bit narrower in gauge than the hose that comes on most bleed kits. I have a nice set of syringes from the Sram Pro kit that I just wanted to swap out with these fittings. The Sram fittings kinda work, but are a bit touchy and can pull in air. When these arrived, I tried the swap, but it was a no go; however, I picked up a few inches of the next size down tubing which fit the Hayes fitting very well. It was a little tight over the syringe barb, but with a little effort, it went on fine. The fitting itself works well and I was able to manage a solid bleed using just the one syringe. I'll be getting the second fitting soon.

Impossible to draw a vacuum on the system without fittings leaking and pulling air into the fluid. Wish it was a bit more robust, will be on the search for a better kit.

This kit has everything needed for bleeding the brakes. It has high quality parts that work well. I gave it 4 starts because it's quite pricey.

Careful if you’re looking to order just the fittingS. You will only get 1 (one) fittinG and not more than 1 (one) fittingS like the item says. The description should be corrected to show what you actually will get when you order the “fittingS”. You will only get one fittinG. Pretty disappointed when I opened my envelope and only saw one in there. $17 for 1 fitting seems like a ripoff.
