Description

Introducing the all-new, Stealth Dominion, our award-winning Hayes Dominion A4 brakes are back – adding even more ways for you to stop!

Dominion's master cylinder is factory tuned for the shortest dead stroke possible and a crisp bite point. The Dominion A4 caliper utilizes four pistons in the most structurally rigid design possible. It features a cold-forged caliper and KingPin structural pad retention bolt that increases stiffness.

With a motorsports-inspired Two-Stroke dual port bleed system, industry-leading DOT 5.1 fluid and Kevlar hose, the hydraulic system is engineered for ultimate performance across all temperatures and easy maintenance.

Dominion A4 features the proprietary QuickBite² system for fast and consistent burnish, coupled with our D-Series rotor to manage the heat with less braking noise.

Available in SFL (Small Finger Lever) - ergonomically tailored for the smaller hand.

Great Brakes

After upgrading my Trail bike, Fat Bike, and Downhill to A4's for their incredible feel, I felt I should share the love. Recently picked up a pair of SRL's for my wife's trail bike. Now all the MTB's in the house have the best brakes in the business. I am happy with how easy it is to bleed and maintain the whole fleet! She loves the light lever feel and incredible power on tap. Thanks for the great results, Hayes!

3rd set of Dominion A4s

You want your brakes to be an item that you don't need to think about. You just want them to work perfectly in all conditions, at all time. The Dominion A4's fit that bill. I have raced on A4s for two seasons of Enduro, and I couldn't be happier. The adjustments are all intuitive, and the lever adjust is the best I've used. The caliper alignment adjust screws are unique and make setup a snap. I have no idea why all companies don't use this feature. The bite point adjust is too small a screw and strips out easily, but works well (I use a needle nose pliers to turn it now). Hopefully this will be remedied in the next iteration. These have the power of Saints but with better modulation, with none of the fade that you get with Codes and other underpowered brakes. I am buying this pair for my Rocky Mountain Element marathon build. Perhaps a bit heavy for an XC build but I love the consistency, power and unquestioned reliability of the A4s, so had to go with them again.
