The Circus Expert 130MM fork is a great fork; it replaces my no longer supported (no parts or service) Fox 36 TALAS. I needed a longer travel fork with a 1 1/8 straight steerer tube and a 20 x 110 through axle for a 26 inch wheel, and Manitou had the only option. That said, the fork is a great match for my 2005 Giant Reign 1, and now I can take my mountain bike out without worrying about my old fork.
Bought this fork for my son's DJ bike. Got the 100mm version yet the stanchions stick out 130mm out of lower legs. Is this corect thing for a 100mm version or should the stanchion length be somehow lowered? Fork is 100mm version for sure. It even has an original sticker on one leg containing this information.
