ABS+ Compression damper with XC Shimstack
Easiest compression damper available for self tuning
It's on sale for a reason. I bought to install on my wife's R7 fork. The R7 comes with the VTT which is apparently a better damper than the ABS+. I was thinking okay, not like she's going to notice. What she did notice is that lack of adjustment. Without the MILO, the ABS+ knob has almost one complete turn of adjustment. With the MILO, starting from the full lockout position, it barely has a quarter turn once released; I even made sure to preload the spring so that the release is snappy and and rotates the knob back as much as possible. I have a feeling she's going to make me put it back to how it was with the VTT damper and she'll just reach down and adjust while riding. At least it was on sale; something else for the parts bin.
erm, so yall bought this thing, lemme ask if it fits with manitou machete?
Have not installed it on the build yet but am looking forward to it.
Got some information from the Manitou staff and they were really good to deal with. Product happened to be on sale when I bought it so that was kind of nice well install it with my build coming up in the next month or so but it looks to be really cool.
