It’s a double header weekend in Canada and a pretty good one at that!

Jenna and myself, were on the east coast at the infamous Mont-Sainte-Anne DH World Cup with a new technical, and even longer track, than previous years. Unfortunately, an X-ray revealed a crack in Jenna's thumb so she will miss this race, and Crankworx but is aiming to be back in time for world champs!

The track started wet with rain early in the week but the forecast only set to get better. After a solid start I went fastest in timed training by almost 3 seconds. We were feeling good for qualifying and the track was starting to dry out nicely. After a couple stalls in my run I finished 5th which was another good day for points and perfect for finals day.

The dirt finals day morning for practice was pretty much hero conditions, but with temperatures soaring and the wind coming in the track was going to be dust bowl by mid afternoon! I pushed on hard with only a couple of small mistakes for another podium 2 weeks in a row with 5th place...a real great feeling backing up snowshoe and in front of a sell out crowd!

Straight after the crew got packing and we headed to saint Anne to watch Eddie, Morgane and Matt tackle the huge new EWS course for RD 4! It was a huge day for all in the heat with some amazing tracks but also some pretty harsh liaisons with hike a bikes!

Eddie unfortunately lost some of his food during a stage and was running on reserves by the end but still managed a very impressive 5th place finish and hanging onto 3rd in the overall!

Matt after sharing some of his food with Ed hammered all day and even recovering after one small crash coming in an amazing 4th place!! Actually just 0.05 ahead of Eddie! Matt also now sitting in 9th overall.

After a slow start in the pro stage for Morgane she managed to turn it around when it counted winning the Queen stage by an incredible 15 seconds and placing 2nd overall for the day! Also tightening the gap on the championship and hanging onto 2nd.

2nd team of the day but still leading the team overall heading into the second half of the EWS season!
