The team was still split over two countries and two races for a busy week of racing. The Downhill World Cup headed to Snowshoe West Virginia for the final two rounds of the 2021 calendar. Six days of back to back racing and two tracks was going to be a new challenge for the team but nothing we couldn’t adapt to. Meanwhile Matt and Morgane were in Finale Ligure enjoying the beach and gelato for the classic venue of the EWS.
The busy second half of the season continued as Matt and Morgane headed to Switzerland for the Crans-Montana EWS. Both riders were coming off good results at the previous round and couldn’t wait to take on a new venue.
A busy week for the Pivot team saw us split over two events. Morgane and Matt were flying the flag in France for rounds 5 and 6 of the Enduro World Series in Loudenvielle, while Bernard, Emilie and Sam were racing at Lenzerhide in Switzerland for the Downhill World Cup.
The team headed through the Monte Blanc tunnel to Val Di Sole in Italy for the 2021 World Championships. Bernard, Emilie and Sam would have the honor of representing their countries in the one run takes all World Championships.
After a mid-season break, round three of the Downhill World Cup rolled into Maribor, Slovenia. A high-speed track with a hot and sunny forecast would allow for fast and frantic racing. The team was well rested and ready to go.
