Massive weight saving for the kid /26er bikes.

Cannot beat the performance or price for the older 26ers! Such a HUGE upgrade from any stock fork on a sub 2K bike.

Plush Ride For 26ers

Regardless the hype, nothing steers as precisely as a 26" mountain bike. It's great there's still something available to keep those going in style. Handles everything from big rocks to small bumps in comfort with good contact throughout. Not even terribly heavy. Looks a little weird though...

When I ordered my fork, it arrived broken and unfixable (local bike shop couldn't sort it out). After contacting Hayes, I returned it and they sent me a new one. It was a massive upgrade from the stock coil fork but it jumped even further in performance once I installed the ABS+ damper. For the money, I don't know how you beat this fork. Hayes customer service was also fantastic.

The fork showed up busted right out the gate. Bike is still at the shop, waiting for some Manitou specialist to email back and get this situation sorted out. It's been 3 days at this point. Hopefully it gets fixed soon to make this ordeal worth it in the end. I'll change the review if and when it gets fixed and installed. sad face.gif

Works as intended. Good product.
