The channels do fill up quickly with brake material so there is a bit more maintenance than expected. With that said this is only my second set (1st set recent purchase) so I only have brake pads for aluminum rims to compare, which is not a true comparison. I will buy again.
Cleaning and scuffing periodically retains braking response while minimizing rim wear.
They are overpriced
