It's a stem

It holds my bars on. Seems to hold them pretty well.
Although I wish the bolts were 5mm instead of t25.

Good stem, bad bolts

The stem is good, but the bolts stripped out way too easily. I'll need to get new ones but I don't know if it stripped from my tools or the bolts. Great stem, but I didn't get any rides on it since it also wasn't holding the bars properly so they were moving.

Great stem but is only 45-50mm

Solid performing stem but the range of adjustment is only 45-50mm. If you are looking to get down to 40mm look elsewhere.

Simple and adjustable

This direct mount is great the height is adjustable and holds a 35mm bar at just the right position. Simple solution to fine tuning your cockpit. Once again a great Hayes product to add to my build.
